Short Films in Yokohama

Went to Yokohama to watch some movies at Brillia SHORTSHORTS THEATER today. Among 5 short films from their Valentine’s Short Program, my favorite was Some Boys Don’t Leave, directed by Maggie Kiley. The story is comical and unrealistic (in a good way), but the couple’s sentiment over the relationship felt real.

I wonder why people, including myself, spend time and money to watch movie to re-experience the feeling that you once had. And it’s sometimes sad feeling that you are reminded of. Maybe we’re trying to make more sense of it, I don’t know.

Broken iPhone

Last night I dropped & broke my iPhone screen on my way to Tanemaki Coworking Space‘s opening day in Yokohama.

I was generally okay with my good old 3GS and didn’t want to bother trying to figure out moving to a new carrier (I bought this phone in US so had to use non-standard carrier in Japan) but I guess now it’s time. Look forward to nicer looking photos with my new phone on this blog 😉
